I arrived to Belini's from Dallas for my grandmother's birthday dinner last night (6/6/15) around 7:30PM. We thought we had a reservation, however upon our arrival found the reservation hadn't been confirmed by our party. The staff of Bellini's was able to seat us anyway and seemed to not think twice about it. Having been in the industry for a while now, I know this can be a huge pain so I'm incredibly appreciative. FOH staff was on point with every request throughout the night, food was delivered quickly along with alcohol. I seriously don't have a negative thing to say about them. I got a bit too drunk to ask for/remember anyone's name, so I'd like to thank the MOD, the blonde server with the monroe, and the other blonde server with the braid. Y'all were awesome! I hope we weren't too terrible. I'll definitely come back to Bellini's the next time I come to Oklahoma City, as there is nothing else to do in this shit hole.

This place has one of the best patios, hands down. Bistro lights, a fire pit, a pond, vines growing over the wooden shady overhang...it's lovely. I almost hate sharing this under-appreciated patio, but it's 100% visible from Penn, so it's not much of a secret. We had dinner there, enjoying the wonderful weather, and no one else was our there. Oh well, our gain. I like the salmon salad, with black lentils & arugula, while adding a glass of their Zinfandel. I've had it several times & it's always been good. I also tried the cup of Minestrone, which had nice flavor. We've always had good service, and the inside atmosphere is also tastefully & artistically decorated, there's also a private room for larger parties.

I always loved Bellini's growing up. It was a special event place for us, and since they could accomodate a big crew, we went when all my family was in town so I associate it with cousins, summer, and fun. Then, post-college, I went a few times on dates or with friends and it just wasn't that great. It fell off my radar and I hadn't been there in years when we met there the other day. A fairly recent renovation has given the space a new entrance and a beautiful new patio, which takes full advantage of the little pond and the geese that hang out over there. The inside of the restaurant is still the nice, upscale Bellini's you expect. The meal was wonderful: I had delicious basil grande cocktail. We shared the roasted cauliflower with cheese, which was delicious (and huge - perfect for sharing). I had the wild mushroom risotto and it was absolutely delicious. I also had a glass of the rose with my meal and we split the raspberry panna cotta for desert. Our waitress, Dani, did a great job and was very cool about us taking our time and enjoying a leisurely meal. The general manager came by and spoke to us as well. I was initially thinking four stars, but there really wasn't anything I would have changed about the meal, the ambience or the service, so really, it's a five in my book. It was a really nice meal and I'm looking forward to coming back soon for brunch.

Let's be honest, I don't come here for the food. It is, however, a perfect place to take the hubs for a bite and bottle of wine after work to enjoy the late summer sun. It is one of the few restaurant patios in the city that has an unblocked western view and isn't windy. It's usually not crowded during the week which is always a plus ; ) There has been some change in ownership and the caliber of food has suffered but still completely enjoyable with good company.

Excellent! From the crab crostini appetizer to the 4oz filet and salmon entrees we were extremely impressed. Amanda was our server and she was fun, happy, very helpful with suggestions and attentive. We would go back in a second!

When you have a little one, you have to get creative about nights out on the town. Weekends go too quickly, and a few Sundays ago I really wanted to spend time with my husband and my son before getting back into the swing of work for the week. So we decided that we needed a patio, preferably a shaded one, which led us to Bellinni's. I know that isn't a typical 'kid' place, but it is one of our favorites so we decided to give it a try. We were ignored at the host stand for a good five minutes on a really quiet Sunday- strike one. Then our waiter rolled his eyes when we asked for a high chair- strike two. Did he think we would keep him in our laps all night?! I quickly realized the high chair didn't have straps and I was starting to panic: my wiggly little dude on a stone patio with no restraints, and I was going to have to ask eye roller for another one?! We started to plan our graceful exit when Erin arrived. She smiled and said she would be our waitress, asked how old our son was, and said she had a toddler. I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief and she happily brought us a high char with straps. She then proceeded to be the sweetest, most helpful waitress we've had in a long time, making us immensely glad we stayed. I had the house salad and a build your own pasta with basil pesto cream and pulled chicken. It was a little salty and very rich, but I knew what I was getting into with a cream sauce. My husband had the pollo pesto tortellini and loved it. Our little beggar in said high chair couldn't get enough of the bread and both of our pastas. We all (including Erin) forgot that we'd ordered fruit for our little guy, but when it came time to box up our leftovers, she remembered and added a generous helping of strawberries and grapes (added to the boxes but not the bill) and we all snacked on them for a few days! I'm always so thankful for people who are kind to us when we bring our charming, well-behaved child with us to spend our hard-earned money on a well-deserved night out for dinner. It is people like Erin who will bring us back to one of our favorite restaurants, and we will happily ask for her when we do return!

I recently stopped in for lunch with a friend. The entire experience was top notch. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was elegant but still bright, cheerful and unpretentious. The cuisine was phenomenal, everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. We tried the soup du jour, Cream of Asparagus. It was divine! The new management's influence and attention to detail are undeniable. I will definitely be returning.

Lunch review only: It's still a great spot. And the new decor really lets it shine. But it was pretty dead when I went. Here's hoping it was only because of the holiday (Halloween). Lunch meals looked wonderful and tasted better. A bit pricey though. Think it is best saved for a night meal full if drinks and across the table plate sharing.

Went there last night. Had low expectations but the service and food way surpassed my thoughts. Our server recommended a delicious Italian wine, Ripasso Valpolicella, to go with our meal. I ordered a pasta de mare dish and the sauce was wonderful with just a kick of spice. The appetizer was crostini with a lemon cream sauce over crab Is apparently the most popular and I know why...we ate every last morsel. My fiancé ordered the veal and the sauce was ok at first, but once we spoke with the waiter, they brought us a complement that was much better. Overall we had a great experience and we found the service added to our experience.

GROSS! Ok, one item we got was from the appetizer menu and that was the seared scallops in browned butter sauce. This was really quite delicious, oh, and the dinner rolls were also good - warm slightly herbed rolls. BUT, everything else was nasty. DO NOT go here unless you like poor quality. I got the chicken cannelloni. I swear it was a reheated frozen brick of two dry, stale, heavy cannelloni's. The house salad sounded good, but yuck. My dining colleague asked for a scoop of ice cream for dessert and was brought a scoop of freezer burned vanilla ice cream with half of it covered in the dried yellowed side that happens when you don't cover ice cream in the freezer! We were staying a the Marriott Waterford and this place was recommended and also recommended by a nice lady at the Williams-Sonoma store at the mall, BUT, this is to inform you of the truth. Nasty food. Maybe the drinks are good, I just had a glass of Chardonnay and the pour was a whimpy 3 1/2 ounce pour. at the most! When I asked the waiter if there was possibly a mistake, he said,..."What, you think you should get more!" Rude. The waiter, was handsome, but very unknowledgeable. When asked what vegetable sides were available, he said, "pasta, potatoes". The place looks great, has a good name, but the quality was bad, bad, bad. OK, the scallops were good.

My wife and I haven't eaten at Bellini's in years and thought we'd give it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised. She had the lobster ravioli and I had the parpardelle with the bolognese sauce and thought they both were good. The salads could use some changes with more green varieties but otherwise we enjoyed the meal.

I went here last night with my mother. I had not been here since I was a little girl but I always remember going outside to feed the ducks which was a lot of fun for me. The restaurant is very nice, with a nice bar and overall great atmosphere. Sadly, this is the best thing about the restaurant (aside from the service, which I would probably give 5 stars by itself). My mother and I both ordered a caesar salad before our entrees and it was absolutely terrible. It had to have been the smallest salad I have ever had (not that I wanted any more) and it tasted bitter and old. The complimentary bread was decent but it would have been much better if it had been hot. I ordered the portobello mushroom tortellini which was tasty with its fried onions on top, but very greasy. This dish was good, but not $14 good. I would have let the caesar salad mishap slide, but as soon as we got the check, we tried for about five minutes to figure out what we could have possibly ordered to make the bill total $60 for two people. The miniscule, disgusting caesar salads were $7 each! The high prices and sub-par food were the only explanation I could find for this empty restaurant on a Saturday night. More than likely, I will not be returning.

We went with a large group of 20 for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Mrs Eva and I had the bone in ribeye. They were prepared perfectly. The salads, veggies, and potatoes were delicious. I wish I knew how to make veggie kabobs flavored like theirs. I had a raspberry panacotta. It was just enough for a bit of sweet but not too much. We were very pleased with our dinner.

I've been here only once recently and both my boyfriend and my pasta dishes were not cooked all the way, the noodles were hard, and the crab cakes were mostly batter and not crab. However, the atmosphere is lovely and in a discreet area, service was pretty decent, and the Rombauer Chardonnay we split was nice. Still a lovely evening just the food was disappointing.

Used to love the patio here but the staff has driven us away. The patio still looks pretty but between in attentiveness and attitude, food was good enough, to us, to come back.

Spouse and I had visited here once before and had a good experience, so we decided to visit here for my birthday. We arrived at 6PM on a Friday with a reservation, and were shown promptly to our table. Now, as a birthday gift, please allow me a few digressions in this review starting now: what is with OKC's inability to get behind reservations? Some of you people would rather wait 60-90 minutes for a table instead of planning ahead and calling in a reservation. Now, because Spouse and I are the old farts who go to dinner at 6PM, we probably didn't need the reservation. However, it let the restaurant know a) they had an early table coming in, b) it was a birthday, and c) they shouldn't include our table in the large group that was arriving as we were leaving. Nothing but positives in making reservations. Of course, many restaurants are hesitant to take reservations because they think people around here no-show and they're stuck holding tables. There are ways around that that they teach in Restaurant Management 101. Ping me for more details. Bellini's is a really nice space. Dark work, nice lighting (if you're there during the day, try to get closer to the patio for natural lighting; we were there for a nice intimate dinner, so the cozier feel in the back of the space worked well for us), and appropriate mid-tempo electro-lounge music playing (volume and tempo were a little off-putting at times, but they were probably using a pre-purchased mix or service. Everyone hits a clunker now and then, and it didn't happen often enough to be a distraction). Our server Lorianne greeted us promptly and took our drink orders right away. We placed an order for a calamari steak appetizer to share to start, and settled in with the menu. Bellini's menu is broad, but not overwhelming. They have a nice array of appetizers and salads, and we saw several tables ordering pizzas to share (something we'll remember next time). It's Italian in inspiration, but not what I would consider traditional Italian by any definition. There's a healthy beer and cocktail menu, and the wine list is one of the better lists I've seen in OKC. Spouse doesn't drink anymore, so I confined my eyes to choices fit for solo consumption. When the appetizer came out, it was served with both a regular olive oil and a suhdried tomato olive oil on the plate, along with a black olive tapenade. The tapenade was a great addition, with the briny olives complimenting the richness of the squid. The breading was crisp, but held a little too much oil. I'm not sure whether it was an issue with the breading, or merely a result of the steak not being drained sufficiently. It was still a good appetizer, but I felt like the extra oil hid some of the squid's flavor. Our salads came out first. Spouse chose the grilled romaine, which was wrapped in proscuttio with an ancho-lemon-chipotle dressing topped with parmesan and crostini. It looked beautiful, and had a pleasantly smoky taste throughout. The proscuttio was a little sinewy and tough to cut, but the flavor was still excellent. I had the carpaccio topped with arugula tossed in lemon vinaigrette. It was my first experience with carpaccio, but hopefully not my last. The beef was buttery and fresh, and provided a great contrast to the peppery bitterness of the greens and the acidity of the vinaigrette. Overall, very pleasant. Each entree at Bellini's comes with your choice of a house salad or a cup of soup. Since we had ordered separate salads, we each got a soup. Spouse had a cream-based tomato basil, which looked and tasted wonderful. I selected a butternut squash cream soup. It had a nice squash flavor, but one spoonful finished me. I can't handle super rich foods, and the cream base did me in. That, however, was an issue with me and not the soup. The entrees were osso buco and ruby red trout. Both were executed extremely well (especially the osso buco, which I rarely have these days). We finished half of our meals, then took the rest home to save room for dessert. The meal finished with great coffee along with a chocolate creme brulee and a tiramisu. Delicious. Overall, the service was the best we've received in the city, and the food was first rate. We'll definitely be back for multiple visits.

My wife and I have been fans of Bellini's for years it just kind of fell off our dinner rotation. We took another couple to dinner last night and wow, I was impressed! My wife loved the 4oz filet (other restaurants take note, most gals don't want 10 - 18oz steaks) and the Italian cheese appetizer. I enjoy the spicy pasta Greco and the fresh out of the oven rolls. Great wine selection, attentive service, great atmosphere and one of the best patios in OKC! Oh and by the way, their signature drink, the Bellini is outstanding so my wife says! Bellini's is back in the dinner rotation!

Bellini's is another one of OKC's jewels. Everyone there is very nice and professional, and the food is fantastic. My wife and I went there for a date night and it was wonderful. They have a very nice selection of vino from both the states and Italy. They also have fantastic frozen drinks, like their signature peach Bellini with a splash of raspberry liquor, or a post dinner brandy ice which my wife and I enjoyed immensely! For dinner we started with some amazing bruschetta, which was extremely fresh and flavorful. For the main course we enjoyed some very flavorful pasta which was amazing! I've found that you can't really go wrong in the food here, I have greatly enjoyed everything that I've had. If you enjoy a little more fresh air, they have a very nice patio with lots of space for you, with a beautiful ambiance. All in all, we love this place, and will definitely be back many times in the future!

Nice restaurant with beautiful courtyard and scenery. Good service. Other than that, the food was BAD. That was the worst clam chowder soup I have ever had. Grilled romaine was nothing special. The food was like some catering business, not good restaurant quality.

Went there for lunch. Nice atmosphere. Entered from the underground parking lot. Wandering around, and couldn't find any employees to help me find the entrance. The eggplant tower was awful. The tomatoes had a tough skin and were slimy. The one piece of eggplant (tower?) had a ghastly bland color like it had been sitting for days. The salads had old lettuce in the mix. No one enjoyed their salads - spinach, Cobb & mixed greens. This restaurant could use some quality control and management.

I'm second-guessing my rating after reading the other reviews ("Was I drunk when I ate there? High? Did I forget the name of the actual restaurant?"), but a quick mental inventory of my visit reaffirms my 4-star choice. First, it had a more extensive wine list than most restaurants in the area. Bonus points! I had a grande bellini (AKA big glass o' delicious heartburn and alcohol), the pesto tortellini, and a bruschetta appetizer. The rolls were excellent soft yeasty-herbed goodness, the caesar salad gets a "meh" (but the house salad was very good), the pesto tortellini is the best thing I've eaten since I left Austin, and the bellini was perfect, which is fitting since that's their schtick. The bruschetta could have been better (revisit the recipe for the tomato mixture? don't refrigerate it quite as much? add mozzarella? toast the bread more?), but I found the addition of pesto to be interesting. My only real complaint is that I feel strange paying so much for a meal eaten in a restaurant that is entered through a parking garage. $16 for my vegetarian entree seemed really steep ($10-$12 would be more in line with other "nice" Italian places...after my appetizer, drink, and tip I spent $55 for my meal alone), but since it tasted like liquid money and happiness mixed together I guess it's okay...

The "official" restaurant raters have done a great disservice to Oklahoma City by rating this place so highly. I can't understand it. I think maybe it used to be very good, because when I first moved to the city some affluent locals raved about it. Very poor, confused service, canned-tasting food, fairly high prices and entrance through a garage basement are too much for the little lake with swans to overcome. It's not even part of the restaurant anyway. In no way does this place feel special - it's just another generic Italian restaurant in an office building, even if that office building happens to have very high rent. If you like food, avoid!

  • Megan S.

Great Sunday brunch... the crab cakes benedict is wonderful! Great bellinis (of course) and bloody marys as well. My only complaint is that we came in for brunch and were placed in a super dark room with only one other table... and on the way out we saw a really nice windowed room on the other side of the restaurant. I guess I could have asked to move but meh. Other than it being a little too quiet for me the food and service were great!

OK, is about all i can say. Having eaten at comparable places recently, like Rococco, Cheevers, etc, Bellini's isn't in that class. The atmosphere is fine. Service was ok, food was OK, etc. Just OK!

Awesome awesome place. This place was across the street from the hotel we stayed at, so we were able to stumble home and not worry about driving, which is always a plus in my book (if I'm too drunk to drive, I'm prolly too drunk to not be cheated by cab drivers). All the drinks were well mixed and we went through many a bottle of tres good wine. We had a large group (15?) so they gave us our own room, which kept us from annoying the rest of the patrons and gave us some privacy. The food was delicious. I remember it being very heavy on the beef, but that's okay, I was in the mood for some beef. I don't remember what cut I got, but it was almost as good as anything I've had at Morton's (high praise) and perfectly cooked. I know I was unable to finish it. The appetizers also escape my recollection but they were good! Oh, I had some kind of mussels, artichoke dip, and a brushetta of some flavor. Desserts were very good as well, though the selection of after-dinner teas could have been better (they were bagged). We all ate so much that we split 3 desserts among us and went home with full bellies. A not-to-miss place, especially if you're staying near by. Also worth a stop if you're in the area.

I have a seriously hard time picking just how many stars to give Bellini's, because it is so good at some things, and so terrible at others. The setting is lovely, with a gorgeous view of a little fountain pond. The service is wonderful-- kind, prompt, and attentive while still unobtrusive. And the food is... well, pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but tasty, and I certainly wouldn't want to take the time to make osso bucco myself on a busy day, so, you know, there are reasons to go there. But it is way overpriced. It is fancy dancey awesome food priced, but the taste just can't live up to it. But the service and ambiance are so good! I've never had anything there I dislike, but I've also never had anything there that is really the slightest bit memorable. It's all solid, but just not special. And with the prices and the style, it kind of should be. No, it REALLY should be. So I guess the service and setting get five stars, the food is a solid three, but the price is a two that manages to drag the overall rating down to a two. The real point of it is: If I am the one paying, I would not go here. I am happy to eat there when others pay, but I am not-- not, not, not-- about to put out that kind of money on that kind of food.

Hmmm. I'm not so sure about the other reviews on here. I've been there a couple of times, and I had great experiences both times. The only thing I would complain about is how hard this place is to find! I've had different pastas, appetizers, salads, and steak. Everything was very good. The service wasn't the best, but it was still good. This is a classier Italian restaurant that you need to expect to pay over $100 for both people. Great atmosphere, dim lighting and pretty backdrop. It's a great place to take someone on a date. The menu has many different choices, and there is also some yummy spicy pastas. Great alcohol choices, especially the wines. Dress up if you'd like, most people were in dressy casual to business casual on a week day evening. If you like Italian, you should try it out. It's not like it's the most authentic Italian, but it is really yummy.

I had the chance to eat their pizza while there for an event on their awesome patio by the pond. Their burning pizza was my preferred choice and I was not disappointed in either the toppings or the perfectly cooked thin crust. They have a varied menu and pizza is but one type of food they serve. The service was good, but I ate at the bar and was not very needy. This would be a good place for a dinner or lunch date where you could actually carry on a conversation without having to scream across the table because of the noise level.

the patio here is fantastic. i've never been for dinner, but i enjoy the brunch quite a bit. they serve you with bread and muffins before the meal, and the prices are comparable to anywhere else in the city. the mimosa prices are average and made strong. overall, great for brunch! i'll have to go back and try dinner and add to or subtract from review.

I love this place! It had been years since I had first came to bellini's, but I really enjoyed it. The lobster fettuccini was really wonderful, thanks to our server who recommended it! The staff was all very courteous and nice, even those hostess staff. Our server was fabulous! He did a great job and was very attentive to my table, and I'm impressed. Well done, Bellini's!

This place has recovered. After the change of ownership, it was unfit to eat. I've been three times in 2014 and it was great each time. Brunch is incredible and well priced. Dinner is delicious as well. Love the atmosphere. Glad it's back!

One of the best eating experiences I have ever had! The food tasted and looked amazing, I had the lobster ravioli. I was pleasantly surprised and I had no idea I would love it so much! Our server was very friendly and had a great sense of humor as well as the manager who also checked on us. Will go to again!

What can I say about this place? I won a twitter contest for lasagna for two and that's how I and my best friend ended up here on 8/6/14. We were seated quickly and given water and bread as an appetizer of sorts. I informed the waitress about the contest and she submitted our order along with a request for ice tea. The lasagna and a spinach, kale and romaine salad with Caesar dressing came out after about 15 minutes. I've never seen what looked to be about seven layers of delicious Italian fare. It was definitely worth it. Hopefully we will return soon.

We had a group of people that came out of town to check the place out, and we are very disappointed on the service that we received. Let's just say for a 3 course meal, and 4 hours later we have received mediocre service. Took too long for drinks, food, and dessert. Just like all businesses it comes down to how they are being led!!

So, my weekend quest is finding great places to have SUNDAY BRUNCH in the city or whatever city I happen to be visiting. This past Sunday, I decided to go to Bellini's. I've only been there one time for lunch, years ago and my experience was good as I had the Chicken Alfredo, but this time was brunch. I chose the Bubbles and Squeak which consisted of (two biscuits, two fried eggs, two sausage patties, bacon, and gravy) and its topped on biscuits along with a Mimosa to wash it all down. One thing that I can say is that they delivered my meal in no time, but I really think I should have chosen something else from the menu just to have a different style of breakfast/brunch item. It wasn't bad though. The servers were very pleasant and the atmosphere is great. You can even sit out on the patio area, which this past Sunday would have been an excellent time to do so, considering it was sunny and warm. The noise level was quite low to moderate, but it's definitely a place you can go to for a date or a nice small family gathering. I will go back again and try out a few more items on their menu.

Our waitress Kathleen was the worst non-rude waitstaff I've ever experienced. She came by exactly five times - once to take our drink orders, once to drop the drinks off, once to ask our order, once to deliver it and once to drop off receipt. I gave her my card when she brought the entree because I didn't know when I'd see her again. Each time she walked away before asking if we needed anything else. The rest of the tables in our section had a different server and he seemed prompt and helpful. We really lost the waitstaff lottery.

A absolute must, Keith is probably the best bartender in town try his dirty martini (amazing).. the food is excellent and the landscape view on the patio is beautiful. Garage parking is easy, location is convenient . Soon as you walk in you will be impressed with the service and the feel !!

We came here recently for one of Bellini's wine dinners. I'd never been and been wanting to try it out, so I figured a wine pairing dinner was the perfect opportunity. We had a flatbread-type appetizer topped with shrimp, Parmesan and a yummy sauce; a chicken and polenta entree; and a poached pear with Mascarpone cream for dessert. The wine was good and the food was good, and I'd come back, but nothing really blew me away. The dessert was probably my favorite - the caramel sauce and Mascarpone cream were delicious. Everything tasted good, but we paid $45/person and weren't sure it was worth that much. Having said that, I might feel differently about regular menu items if I were choosing them myself. I'll probably back to try again, and am definitely interested in trying their brunch. I will say if you're unfamiliar with the area, the parking can be a bit confusing. I met my boyfriend there and he parked in the main lot and all the Bellini's doors he found were locked. We realized then you had to park in the garage underneath. There is signage near the garage, but if you pull in off 63rd, you have to drive a bit through the complex before you get to it.

My fiancé and I had already booked our rehearsal dinner here when we decided to come have dinner. The last time I was at Bellini's was about 2 years ago. I liked the food and the atmosphere enough to go ahead and book the space for our rehearsal dinner. We weren't planning on being wowed, but we definitely were. First, the service was spectacular. Unmatched. Every single member of the staff was attentive and delightful. When they found out we were having our event there, they were even more wonderful! Wade, our waiter and one of the managers, was very sweet and charming. He finished our meals with complimentary champagne. Now for the food. The tomato basil bisque is the best I've had anywhere. It was seasoned well and not salty like some. The Caesar salad was standard. Their bread is warm and delicious. My fiancé loved his pesto chicken tortellini dish. I stole a few bites. I could have eaten a whole late of the portobello mushroom. The creamy pesto sauce was excellent. My chicken Greco was good, but not as good as his. It was a tad bit salty. Lastly, the cocktails were AMAZING!! We had 3. My favorite was the Old Cuban. We overheard that their bartender won some type of "best bartender in okc" award. Bravo, Bellini's! You have far-exceeded our expectations!

I went here for my birthday recently. Friendly staff and excellent menu selection. I ordered the sausage primavera and the flavors were incredible: slow roasted tomatoes, carmelized onions, spicy sausage topped with mozzarella cheese. My boyfriend ordered the portobello mushroom burger and would not stop raving about it for the next week. The homemade potato chips are definitely worth checking out!!

Dining here was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. My family and I made reservations for my little sisters 21st birthday dinner, and we were all so very excited. Once the 7 of us were seated it took about 20 minutes for our waiter to come to the table to take our drink orders, it took about 10-15 minutes for our drinks arrive and about another 20 minutes before we ever saw our waiter again to take our meal orders. It took about 45 minutes for our meals to come out, our appetizer we ordered for before the meal, came our with our main dishes. There were salads missing, my order was no where near what I asked for. I ended up getting my pizza after everyone was finished eating. The salads NEVER made it to the table. My older sister made the reservations was told that they would have a complimentary dessert for the birthday girl, but what was brought to us was a less than appetizing looking dessert as a "sorry" for the horrible experience. Yes thr waiter was new, but he should have had a little bit of help. Management was wonderful, trying to fix our experience any way that they could. But the owners refused to comp anything but the pizza that almost never showed, and the salads that never came. We were there for 2 and a half hours when all we wanted was a nice meal with our family. I would NOT recommend Bellinis to anyone that will be visiting Oklahoma City. It was a major disappointment.

I apologize for the caveat, but it's worth noting that a full 24 hours have passed since my dining experience. I wanted to have distance and clarity before transposing the notes I took on my phone, so as not to have my writing be completely fueled by the emotion-welling up from my incredulity towards the ridiculousness of the horrible dining experience that I and my colleagues were subjected to. I'll admit; I'm torn on whether or not to give this a 1 or 2 star review. I don't want to be a sensationalist but let the record show that this was the worst restaurant experience I have had in several years. Our group (of 10) did not have a reservation. We walked in and proceeded to be made aware of how greatly we were inconveniencing the restaurant. They were running at about 1/3 capacity when we arrived but the floor manager told us several times that we should have gotten a reservation and that she didn't know if her staff could serve a party of our size. We proceeded to wait. After 30+ minutes of her arguing with her hostess and wait staff - in front of us - she finally found room for our party. During the interim, we were witness to several smaller groups being told, in similar fashion, that there was no room for them and/or that they should have gotten a reservation. At one point, a women and her family asked if they could be seated outside - to which the manager replied, whilst holding up her hand; "That is NOT going to happen." Another group, refusing to subject themselves to the same treatment, were heard declaring as they left "Your manager is horrible!" Upon being seated, we were notified that the restaurant (1/3 of tables full at this point) had a shortage of menus. We were told that our whole group would have to share 1 menu. "Ya'll will just have to look over each other's shoulders." We had to request waters. 10 minutes later our waitress came by asked us for our drink orders. We replied that we did not have drink menus. She said that she would try to find one. And ONE she did finally find. She took drink orders for most of the table and then walked away. We had to call out to her that we had not all ordered. When our drinks came, she had forgotten several of the orders - having not written them down. One of the drinks had to be ordered a third time before it arrived. One of the women in our group ordered a "house white." When the bills were brought at the end of the email, she was charged $16 for a glass of Chardonnay. Another party member ordered a Pilsner and was given an IPA. After another 15 minutes passed we were told we could order food. Again, after several of our party members had ordered, our waitress walked away. When asked by one of our party members if he could please order an appetizer the reply was "I guess you can, if you want to." Given the delay in the ordering process, our group decided to order apps and entrees at the same time. When the salads were delivered, they were given to the wrong group members. The "House" salad dressing was...ghastly. It was called "Citrus" but tasted of rotten anchovies, lemon rind and salt. No one at our table finished their salads, sans the one lucky person who asked for blue-cheese dressing. One of our group members never received her salad, to which our waitress replied "I guess they didn't make enough." The one bright spot in the evening was the appetizers. The Charcutterie and Fromage plate was simple, but delicious. The Caprese was equally delightful, as was the roasted mushroom plate. Unfortunately, it was not indicative of the remainder of the dining experience. Did I mention salt? When our entres arrived the dishes were incredibly salted. From the Filet mignon, to the duck to the fettuccine Carbonara, the dishes were almost inedible. Speaking of the Fettuccine, the menu boasted of table side prep. The actual experience was a single yoke, served in shell, which rested on pasta (unsanitary much?) We were directed to dump the yoke onto our bread plates and then to stir it into the noodles. The dish would have been incredibly bland if not for the inedibly salty bacon that littered the dish. After our food order had been taken, it was a full hour before our server returned to inquire if everything was fine. One of our party members began to make a request and our server walked off mid sentence. By this point, the whole experience was comedically awful. We decided to cut our losses and to ask for the check. Again, 20+ minutes went by. When our waitress brought the checks, we were informed that she did not have her glasses so we were going to have to figure out which checks belonged to which person. We were also notified that she did not have enough folders for all of the bills so they were put together in a stack. The final insult to injury was that she did not have enough pens so we would have to share. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. It is right next to our hotel but I would rather stay in and order pizza...

Unfortunately our group hit Bellini's on what I hope was a very bad day. We arrived for Sunday brunch at 11 a.m. and were seated promptly. We were poured water and waited about 10 minutes for our waitress to come and take our drink order. We ordered three bellinis and a bread basket. Please don't order this drink. I realize this restaurant is under new ownership and a new chef, but their bellini doesn't taste like any beliini I've ever had. This frozen drink is sickeningly sweet. We waited another 10 minutes and the waitress returned to take the drink order of two more who had joined our party. Another 12 minutes went by - yes I am timing them. We got their drinks and placed our food order. That's 32 minutes to place our food order. Still no bread basket. We ordered additional drinks to replace the bellinis - three mimosas. About 20 minutes go by and we still don't have our mimosas or any bread. One member of our party went up the bartender's stand and asked if he could make our drinks. He said he could and would bring them to us. He never did. We finally asked the hostess walking by if she could bring us the drinks on the bartender's stand and she graciously obliged. 30 minutes after we ordered our food it is delivered. One order of eggs benedict was cold. Like not even remotely warm and the egg yolk was cooked. My friend asked for a replacement. The manager of the restaurant brought her out two poached eggs, not another new order. The manager then explained that they were understaffed that day and there was nothing he could to speed things along. After he delivered those poached eggs, we never saw him again. She finally received a new order and it was fine. By this time, other diners were leaving the restaurant because no one had taken their order or they had never received their food. It's too bad they were understaffed on such a busy day. Overall the food was good, but the employees of the restaurant were not working as a team, including the manager. The savior of our experience was the hostess. She bussed our table, made sure our drinks were full and got us the bread we asked for. Our group doesn't mind waiting for our food. As long as drinks are in hand, we're fine to wait a while, but this bordered on ridiculous.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
